Forging Industrial Tourism Brand

The CSSC industrial tourist route is a new project launched under the "Three-year Action Plan for Innovative Development of Shanghai Industrial Tourism” and the specific requirements of Shanghai to focus on building three major industrial tourism brands, namely, Sea (CSSC), Land, and Air. It is CSSC’s internal demand to seek high-quality development, diversified operation and brand image enhancement.

First Attempt in Industrial Tourism

On January 9, 2019, CSSC welcomed nearly 100 outstanding masters and college students from Tongji University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and others. They are the first visitors after the launch of the CSSC industrial tourist route. The students learned about China's advanced ship manufacturing and felt the new strength of modern shipbuilding in CSSC by watching promotional videos, visiting exhibition halls, digital shipbuilding laboratories, and civil ship production sites.

Route for Industrial Tourism

1. CSSC Promotion Film

Through the exhibitions of popular science and history, you can learn about the major industrial equipment that is of great significance to China, in addition to modern shipbuilding, and feel the nation’s cultural heritage of great manufacturing.

The hall shows the great changes and achievements of CSSC in 153 years, and stimulates the patriotic enthusiasm and national pride of visitors.

The laboratory demonstrates the design process of digital shipbuilding, where visitors can see the whole ship via the VR interactive system to feel the "Made in China 2025" and get the ideas of digital shipbuilding and industrial transformation.

4. Production Site of Civil Product

In the workshops are intelligent and digital production equipment, where you can appreciate the quality culture and technology detail and learn the spirit of craftsmanship.

At the scene, you can watch the whole process of shipbuilding, gaze upon the large production equipment and facilities and learn how to manage a business.
