One-day Parent-child Tour

Morning

08:00-10:00 Depart from the urban area and arrive at the wharf of Hengsha Island

10:00-10:30 Upon arrival at the farm, the staff will introduce the activities, team grouping, and precautions to the children and their parents in the coffee bar.

10: 30-12:00 Led by our staff, the activity of being a farmer will teach you the classification of organic vegetables and their varieties, nutritional values, and cooking methods before you experience soil digging, sowing, planting, and irrigation to learn more knowledge and culture about farming.Children are asked to complete a funny task of planting graphics (including figures, five-pointed stars, and other graphics). After the task, a naming ceremony will be held and a group photo will be taken as a memento.

Noon

12: 00-13:30 You can order a special family set meal served with organic food on the farm, including rice with green leafy vegetables and bacon sausage cooked in a large pot on an earthen stove, seasonal vegetables, and country chicken soup.

Afternoon

13: 30-15:30 After lunch, you can go to the greenhouse area to bake sweet potatoes and learn how to weave straw ropes and mates, which can be taken home as souvenirs). Children can give rein to their imagination to decorate a scarecrow and take pictures. (Please prepare the decorative items at home before participating in the activity).

15: 30-16:00 After visiting the rice mill, let’s return to the coffee bar to DIY some palatable rice balls for the joy of cooking and learn to cherish food.

16:00 After all the activities, let’s return to the downtown area.

18: 00-19:30 You will have a farm-featured organic set meal (2 meat dishes, 2 vegetable dishes, and 1 soup), including the Jiaohua Chicken.

19: 30 Stay for one night at the farm’s cooperative training base

Day 2

8: 00 Chinese breakfast is available at the restaurant on the 2nd floor of the accommodation building. After breakfast, you can enjoy your leisure time freely on the island, including kart driving or horse riding in a resort, or renting a bicycle for cycling.
