Shuangxi Laopu is a Hong Kong-styled dessert shop that is truly popular on the Internet. The pastries and snacks here are enough to fill your stomach. The little and simple-decorated shop retains the retro atmosphere as a time-honored brand. Double-layer steamed milk custard, handmade taro balls, Chezai noodles with fish balls, crispy pork intestines in honey sauce, and noodles with scallion oil are all popular dishes in the shop. The taste is awesome.

Mingzhu Lake Park is the largest natural inland freshwater lake on Chongming Island. The lakeside has luxuriant trees and rich vegetation, and is beautiful and elegant. Wild geese flying is the most popular scene in the park. As a wild goose is the symbol of loyalty in love, you can watch with your sweetheart hundreds of wild geese flapping their wings and dancing in the blue sky and white cloud under the command of the trainer. If you are lucky enough, you can encounter some roe deer, which are timid, shy, docile, and cute. There is even an exhibition area for roe deer breeding. Take Metro Line 1 and get off at Wenshui Road Station to take Shanghai Bus Shenchong Line 3, or take Metro Line 6 and get off at Wuzhou Avenue Station to take Shanghai Bus Shenchong Line 6, and get off at the bus stop Nanmen, Chongming, then walk to Shuangxi Laopu at the wharf with a navigation app.

2. Walk to Chongming Nanmen Bus Station (departure station), take Nanniu Line and get off at the bus stop Sanhua Highway and Chenhai Highway, and then walk to Mingzhu Lake Park.

3. Walk to the bus stop Martyrs' Village to take Nanniu Line (to Nanmen Bus Station) and get off at the bus stop Qiaozhen, transfer to Nandong Special Line and get off at the bus stop Zhaohu, then walk to Yeshan Homestay.

Chongming countryside: The metasequoia trees on both sides of the road are tall and beautiful, forming a vault above the road. The sun shines, casting shadows on the quiet road. Beside the road are large rice and vegetable fields, where villages and houses are scattered. Flowers are waving in the wind, and oil-painting-like rural scenes are everywhere.

Wanghu Restaurant, located in Dongping National Forest Park, is built by the lake. Here you can have a poetic dinner while enjoying the lake and having food. The restaurant provides farm dishes with Chongming characteristics, including hairy crab, white goat, golden melon, crispy taro, Chongming old wine, and others.

Dongping National Forest Park: The crape myrtle in the park is in full bloom. The crape myrtle garden covers an area of about 1,000 mu, and about 2,000 crape myrtle trees are planted. Among them, there are 4 trees with an age of 1,000 years in the rock climbing field, more than 20 trees with an age of 800 years, and the others are more than 100 years old. The crape myrtle trees are planted in clusters and strips in the form of bonsai, and various wildflowers are matched to form a sea of flowers. In this early autumn, walk into this garden and feel the coolness from the swaying flowers in comfortable breezes, where you can get rid of anxiety and will have a good mood.
