You may feel that you are in a world in a Hayao Miyazaki movie. When driving on the road in Chongming, it will make you feel excited no matter whether it is the beautiful scenery in the rearview mirror or the scenery beside the country road.

Visit Xiangduo Happy Farm

The first stop is Xiangduo Happy Farm. For an outing, an outdoor BBQ is not to be missed. Leave the busy life behind, and enjoy leisurely time. Of course, you can have healthy and delicious farm food here. In the restaurant of the petty bourgeoisie, music surrounds and the tables near the window are the best for a good view. Chongming has a "Doll Ice Cream" sculpture that prevails on the Wechat Moments. The sweet and cold doll ice cream in our memory is turned into a super large structure standing under the blue sky and white clouds in the countryside. This new must-visit site is in Qianwei Contemporary Art Center, where you can embark on an art journey. The multi-functional art institution that promotes and displays contemporary art is a space of contemporary culture integrated with natural ecology. The art center provides exhibitions, lectures, workshops, artists' residences, and other activities, providing more possibilities for contemporary art. The first contemporary art group exhibition "Coming" is held in Qianshao Bay. A total of 31 famous contemporary artists and groups from home and abroad are invited. More than 40 groups of paintings, sculptures, installations, photography, and earth artworks are exhibited in the Qianshao Contemporary Art Center and the Qianshao Bay Landscape Passage.

Return Home

After lunch, you can stroll in Donghe Jiugu Happy Farm. Riding a bicycle on the farm, passing through the flower fields and crisscross paths, and shuttling in the countryside and villages, you can feel the fresh breeze and find the fun of childhood. Here, you can enjoy the lifestyle as written in an ancient poem - "picking chrysanthemums under the east fence, and you can see the south mountain in the leisurely mood". You can go farming and plant vegetables for the joy of labor, and gain happiness and health. You can also go to Donghe Jiugu's Rice Culture Park for a more intuitive understanding of China's farming culture and the whole processing of rice from the field to the table.

In the afternoon, it is time to drive home. Before that, you can spend about half an hour taking some photos at Baozhen Wharf. After searching online, you will find that the No. 2 Spur Dike in Baozhen Town has become an internet-famous site that is visited by many people. Look at the photos taken by the tourists. Oh, my God! It's amazing! It is said that a scene of the heroine in the TV drama "Sadness Goes Upstream into a River" is taken at the Spur Dike. It is also the place where the couples in “Ghosts” first meet.
