1. Stay in Saffron Themed B & B

It has won the honor of five-star B & B in Chongming District and the title of the most beautiful flower hotel in Shanghai. With its layout in Japanese style, it aims to promote saffron culture. In the B & B, you can try saffron toiletries, saffron facial masks, saffron rose tea, saffron artwork, etc. It is also equipped with several outdoor facilities, such as the 2,000-square-meter lawn, the angling platform, and the open-air cinema. You can also taste saffron-medicated food and learn the eating culture of traditional Chinese medicine.

2. Visit Saffron Production and Processing Base

Tour around the cooperative, and visit the saffron planting base and the saffron bulb cultivation room. Here you can understand the process of cultivation, planting, picking, baking, and storage of saffron and learn about the Shenxiang, Huguang, or Yutian's branded saffron derivatives, such as saffron pistil, facial mask, eye mask, toiletries, etc., for a deeper knowledge of the saffron. Besides, you can buy some home to share with your family members.

3. Visit TraditionalChinese Medicine Cultural Park

Shanghai Pharmaceutical Traditional Chinese Medicine Cultural Park is an off-campus practice base of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, a science popularization education base of Shanghai, and a practice base for traditional Chinese medicine education of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has a special exhibition hall, a science popularization garden of medicinal plants, and an educational practice and experience area. You can systematically learn about the development history of traditional Chinese medicine and its characteristics.
