The Education Bureau of Chongming District is a department of the county’s government, which is in govern of the county’s educational work. Under the leadership of the Communist Party Committee and the government of Chongming District, it is in charge of coordinating, planning and governing the education work of the whole county and standardizing the schooling conducts of varies levels of schools according to the country’s laws. Orientations, policies, laws and regulations issued by the party and the nation will be organized, guided and coordinated to put into practice in consideration with the specific situations of the county. Meanwhile, the Education Bureau will be responsible for other items assigned by the Education Committee of Shanghai, the Communist Party Committee as well as the government of Chongming District.
