Announcement on Partial Opening of Xisha Wetland during the Tide in August

Dear tourists and friends:
Xisha Wetland is the only freshwater marsh wetland with natural tides in the Yangtze River Estuary. The tides may influence the safety of tourists. To protect tourists’ lives and property and better meet their needs, some scenic areas of Xisha Wetland will be open to the public during the high tide in August. The specific adjustment and routes are as follows: 3 days from August 4 to 6 (from the first day to the third day of the seventh lunar month); 3 days from August 19 to 21 (from the 16th day to the 18th day of the seventh lunar month). Some areas will be open to the public (the area in the south of the central platform, the south part of the three-way intersection in the east of the central platform, the east part of the bird-watching tower and the connection area of the Rainbow Bridge and Xisha Mingzhu Lake will be closed all day, while the rest including the water forest cruise project will be open to the public as usual). Please follow the instructions of the staff, and pay attention to your safety during the tide. It is strictly forbidden to climb over the isolation fence or go down to the beach. Meanwhile, the scenic area will implement temporary closure depending on the tide and special weather conditions of the day.
