Xisha Wetland is the only freshwater swamp wetland in the Yangtze River Estuary that features natural tides. Due to the possible tides and floods, there may be situations where the walkways are submerged. To ensure the safety of tourists' lives and property, Xisha Wetland will be closed during the flood season in June.

It will be closed for 3 days from June 3 to 5 (or from the 16th day to the 18th day of the fourth lunar month), and for another 3 days from June 18 to 20 (or from the first day to the third day of the fifth lunar month).
