With a total land area of 88 mu, Shangyao Cultural Park is a comprehensive education and cultural tourist attraction, which is established by Shanghai TCM Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co., Ltd, and Shanghai Chongming Farm Co., Ltd. of Guangming Food Group. It integrates medical education, medicinal plant exhibition, TCM cultural publicity, medical academic exchange, Shanghai TCM industry exhibition and health education experience.

The first part of the park is a special exhibition hall. Among them, the Brief History Museum of Shanghai’s TCM systematically introduces the development process of Shanghai’s TCM. The product exhibition hall mainly presents Liushen Pill, Danshen, Dendrobium, wild ginseng, ginkgo keto ester, saffron, donkey-hide gelatin and other characteristic products. The second part is the science popularization parks of medicinal plants. There are 100-Fruites Orchard, 100-Flowers Garden, 100-Grass-Varieties Garden, Arbor Garden and so on. Nearly 200 kinds of Chinese herbal medicine plants are planted, and the greening rate in the park is 64.36%. Walk in the park, through intuitive or scan code to understand and understand the characteristics, functional properties and medicinal value of each common Chinese herbal medicine. The third part is the education practice experience area. One is the cultivation and planting area of Chinese herbal medicine. Mainly for primary and middle school students, who understand the characteristics and medicinal value of various Chinese herbal medicine plants in labor practice. The second is to set up the TCM culture lecture hall. In the lectures of famous doctors, health experience and other forms, people can understand the broad and profound nature of traditional medicine. The third is the experience of TCM processing. To strengthen the understanding of the TCM knowledge, visitors simulate the process of processing TCM, make hand-made medical soap and TCM plant specimens.

The park focuses on creating the theme of "walking into TCM, tasting the culture and experiencing the magic, with the promotion of the TCM culture as the main line.
