Recently, the opening ceremony of the 6th Rice Culture Festival in Xincun Town and the Chongming Flower Festival (Xincun Branch) kicked off at the Shanghai Xincun Rice Culture Center.

On the site, the stalls were lined up, showing special products such as Xincun Rice, Cizzle Cookware, CP Food Eggs, stropharia rugosoannulata, and elk cultural and creative exhibits, and attracting many citizens to come for consultation and purchase.

At the opening ceremony, the Xincun Town High-Quality Rice Development Alliance was officially unveiled. In the future, the 73 rice planting and operating entities in Xincun Town will produce, process, and sell rice in accordance with the standardized system to ensure yield and quality. At the same time, the group operation model under the Alliance will further spread the brand and continuously improve the added value of Xincun rice.

In recent years, Xincun Town has taken the rice industry as the core and integrated rice culture into rural tourism. It has held rice culture festivals many times to enhance the soft power of the rice culture town. Currently, the Rice Culture Festival has become an important stage for promoting Xincun products, telling rice stories well, and displaying the image of Xincun. It has injected new vitality into the rice culture town, striving to achieve the development goal of “rice fragrance, prosperous business, beautiful village, and people’s happiness”.

According to reports, this year’s Xincun Town Rice Culture Festival will last until February next year. During this period, a variety of activities will be held, such as the Rice Fragrance Ecological Market, Rice Fragrance Study Camp, Art Gala, Happy Cycling Tour, and New Year Goods Festival.
